On Tuesday, President Trump brought back to life two controversial oil pipelines that had been blocked by the Obama Administration — KeystoneXL and Dakota Access — telling us they would be ‘great deals’.
On Wednesday, an oil pipeline ruptured in Iowa, spilling 138,600 gallons of oil. Read about it in The Guardian here.
In Iowa, they are lucky that the pipeline “does not appear to threaten any waterways”.
In New York and New Jersey, the Pilgrim Pipeline would traverse through vast swaths of our ground water supply. Will this be a “great deal” for our region?
